I started to get a feeling for giving the skin a little warmth towards the end, but the helmet doesn't look metal and the "leather" is pretty weak too.
Really love the character design here. He looks like he would fit the GDD criteria perfectly with his size and all. My only concern here is the shading. You've done a great job with it on the face, but it didn't register too well on his boots. I adore the character though, one of my favorites of the class!
